Myntra: Wedding Store

Year: 2017

Problem: Myntra, while being a major fashion app, mainly targeted shoppers who are looking for casual, formalwear, or sportswear. Although it sells traditional Indian ethnic wear and occasional wear, not many Indians shop online for their wedding or any big occasion, mainly because they often prefer local brick & mortar shops. Hence the problem is no customers are willing to trust online stores to shop for the big event- the wedding!

Solution: A one-stop customized Wedding Store for every ceremony and learning the wedding trends: Indian weddings consist of many rituals and ceremonies that last for days or even weeks. The target customers for the store are the guests who ask what they should wear on each occasion. This store is a one-stop destination for buying everything from clothing to gifts for the bride, groom, and relatives. It delivers something that local brick & mortar stores cannot- inspiration and curated looks consisting of everything from makeup to apparel to gifting, everything one just one store!
